This is the sequel to Courting Trouble, which as not a predictable book, at all. This takes place a few years later, in 1899 Texas, and addresses the issue of lynching, among other things. There is a romance, of course , and a murder mystery. You learn about the oil industry of the time, and the change from horses to bicycles, to automobiles.
