Fine in Fine jacket. First printing. A fine copy in a fine jacket. A clean copy with price ($6.95) intact on front flap. Comes with archival-quality jacket protector. Note: Slight spine slant. Some foxing on sides. Although not marked in any such way, this book came from the library of poet and literary critic J.D. McClatchy, from his estate in Stonington, Connecticut. McClatchy left a few pencil marks in the text. McClatchy laid in Pettingell's review on the title. He also laid in a warm letter he typed to Hine and a draft of a review of the collection (as pictured), which includes McClatchy's handwritten corrections. McClatchy's review remains elusive online (except that a reference to it is included in Phyllis Platnick's "Canadian Poetry: Index to Criticisms (1970-1979)", pg. 47).
