I thought I'd never get through this story. Naomi's doubts, resistance and lack of faith was too much for me to take and very tiring through most of the book. The only reason I was able to finish the book is that I try to finish what I start but this one was hard for me to do. I disliked Naomi enormously. I will not read another of Ms Showalter's titles if the women in her books resists something wonderful staring her in the face but not good sense to realize how blessed she was in getting a second chance. I'm not convinced she deserved that chance.

A funny, sexy romp
Gena is more popular for her darker, paranormal books as of late but this one is still one of my favorites. Naomi is funny, sexy, smart and determined not to get involved again. Royce has loved her from afar and sees his mom's party as the perfect way to get to Naomi - she is a party planner after all.
They are fun together and the sex is hot. Snuggle up with a glass of wine and enjoy.
