Good with no dust jacket. Two volume set. Hard covers, published by the Lewis Publishing Co. In 1911. Black pebbled covers, with gilt lettering and lines on spine. No dust jackets. Covers have slight scuffing, and bottom corners are bumped some. Tops of pages are gilt-edged. Vol. 1 has the tissue guard before the title page, Vol. 2 does not. Pages have slight tanning, and several pages have some foxing. Vol. 2 has water stains at top of first three pages (no more than one-half inch down), a faint number written at top of second page, and a piece of tape at bottom (an attempt to repair a small tear) and a small tear at top of second page. Books are in good condition. Vol. 1 has 451 pages and Vol. 2 has 447 pages. Weight 9.5 lbs.; Vols. I & II.
