For me, who grew up in the Soviet Union, this book is a lot more than a collection of exotic photographs. The country that is masterfully documented by great photographers no longer exists in reality, but only in my memory. This book brought back pleasant recollections of the time, the places, and the people. As far as photography is concerned, there are quite a few artful pictures in this book.
