Fair. Ca 1890. Brown pebbled leather boards with gilt titling. Faint 'must' smell, and there are some sporadic spots of dampstaining throughout, including on one of the plates. All 24 original color plates are present. The boards show some light wear, including bumping at the corners and the top and bottom of the spine. Rear inner hinge cracked, binding else intact. Two long scratches to ffep, and small tear at fore-edge of last few pages. No prior owner's marks. Sixth Edition.
