A really nice comprehensive guide to baking. I have a lot of cookbooks but this one shines due to the range of delights contained within its pages. Everything from childhood memories to adult indulgences. I love the recipes from the middle east and those arising from even further east , the authors are certainly spanning the world. The DVD at first glance is OK but watching it you see the silly little things that real cooks do that the printed word doesn't convey. After all if the pie tastes great but falls short on presentation no one wins.
