As New. No Jacket-Issued. Folio-over 12"-15" tall. 270pp. Originally dated 1594. This volume consists of a decorative title page stating that there are " Eight Bookes", the preface, a page headed " What things are handled in the Bookes following" (covering eight books), and then the first, second, third, fourth and fifth books. The pages from the beginning of the preface to the end of the fifth book have been numbered and run to page 207. None of the first four books is dated. There is then the fifth book which consists of a decorative title page dated 1597, a dedication of nine pages, and then text which starts at a page numbered 1and running to page 270. Text clean.
