Bob Swift, mountaineer, was the first to ascend Yosemite Point Buttress. His involvement in the early climbs of Yosemite's most challenging peaks is extraordinary. Swift's interest and activity in Himalayan exploration was also of historical note. He has contributed a photo to this excellent volume.
