Two bored older men train Eliza to become the perfect young lady. The play is rather funny, though it ends on a sad note. Its not as upbeat as the My Fair Lady story. This tale takes a look at what happens when a girl is bettered and then released back into her old surroundings. These two men care more about their own amusement iver the feelings of Eliza. Most of the play is up beat, but the ending really ruined the whole story for me. If one wants a happy ending then this is not something to read.
