Signed on the title page by Paul von Baich and F. J. McEvoy. Paul von Baich is a Canadian photographer. His contribution include Between Friends/Entre Amis as well as work for the National Geographic. F. J. McEvoy is a Canadian historian and past president of the Ottawa chapter of the Periodical Writers Association of Canada. Mary Ann Simpkins is an author and publisher. Paul von Baich does Ottawa justice with his marvelous pictures of the city's parks, waterways and rich variety of historic buildings. Baich has for many years enriched the community's knowledge of Canada's landscape with his magnificent photographs. The accompanying stories show Ottawa to have a rich, amusing and sometimes raffish history that belies its reputation as a staid capital.
