Very Good + in very good + jacket. Tight binding. No chips, tears, creases to pages. Gift inscription and note about author written on front free endpaper. Blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on spine and outline of sailing ship on front. Boards are lightly sunned around edges. Dust jacket has some small chips and tears around edges and a couple ring marks on front. Book provides a record of the sailing ship, N. B. Lewis, which sailed all over the world carrying trade in the years 1880 to 1893. The ship was launched in 1880 from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia under the command of Captain Ben gullison. The book is well illustrated with photographs, copies of documents, and maps. 4to-over 9¾"-12" tall. 398 pp.
