New in fine dust jacket. Fine, as new. Sewn binding. Cloth over boards. With dust jacket. 288 A beautiful copy in a fine dust jacket. Unobtrusively blind stamped on front end paper. Only a sober Stephen King could have written this personal and engaging guide to writing.
Yes, I do love this book. Its funny, insightful, helpful, entertaining! You learn about writing and about Stephen King! I have read this book about 3-4 times. In my top 10.

Good Book For Aspiring Writers
Great book for an aspiring writer, and without the lengthy dialogue that King is so famous for.

A writer's writer
I could have skipped the first 100-page autobio, though I learned some tnings, but what came after that was invaluable to me in its insights to King's ideas about good -- and bad -- writing. Would I recommend it to a friend? I already have, to a couple, who write -- and it was recommended to me by one of the greatest young writers in America.
