Awsome!!
Great book. My 5 yr old son loves the movie, the old one and the new Depp one. We are reading one chapter per night to him. He just loves it. The umpa loompa songs are great and long and different than the movie. The book just shows how much the first movie missed and the second movie really tried to stay true to the book. Back the book, it has some really cool black and white pics at the beginning of each chapter.......we are almost finished is but I think I know how it ends..."Charlie lives happily ever after"

A Masterpiece!
A Great Book! It was funny and strange. If you have watched the new movie, this is so unlike it. The movie is dark and a little scary, but this book is fun and very imaginative. Don't get me wrong I loved the movie, I'm just saying that this book is very differant . I recommend it for kids 8-13
