First edition. 599pp. Light foxing on the topedge, small tear at the foot of the spine, very good in a good only dust jacket with an owner gift inscription on the front panel, chips and tears, foxing, and ink markings on the rear panel. Laid in is the author's business card for this book. Inscribed by the author on the front fly: "To Donald: The young and adults of our wonderful nation must know the truth that went on in the disastrous Philippine campaign-1941-42. Best wish. Abie Abraham. 3 Nov 1997." Beneath this is an owner inscription addressed to "James" stating that it was accidentally autographed to Donald instead of him. James appears to have been an acquaintance of the author and is mentioned on three pages in the text along with inked notations.
