This book is a real treasure, Christmas or not! It contains some classic, traditional Christmas stories as well as others that are classically Jan Brett. Of course it is full of illustrations that are rich in color and detail. They are a joy to pour over time and time again. The characters in the non-tradional stories display qualities like kindness, caring, bravery and intelligence, good examples for us all.
