Seller's Description:
NEAR FINE in Very Good jacket. First Edition, First Printing. 12mo, sewn binding in Navy cloth, gilt spine lettering. Owner's inscription to FFEP d. 1-5-78 beneath bookseller's price stamp, about FINE otherwise, very clean and sharp. DJ shows just a bit of wear to tips, spine faintly sunned, light toning to flaps, otherwise clean and unclipped with price of £16.50 NET intact. A.V. Miller's new translation of the Phenomenology was integral in the revival of Hegelian thought in English philosophy in the later 20th century. Findlay's 'Analysis of the Text' in precis is itself a hermeneutical triumph and surely must be credited with the majority of claims to having understood this book.
