Seller's Description:
Good. No dust jacket as issued. iv, 278 p. Illustrations. Occasional footnotes. S. Hrg. 108-923. The purpose of this hearing was to begin the deliberations over the many issues related to drug importation that fell within the jurisdiction of the committee. In particular this hearing focussed on whether amending the longstanding, carefully crafted, Prescription Drug Marketing Act of 1988, that established a tightly regulated, closed system of prescrition drug distribution in the United States, would open the door to counterfeit and otherwise adulterated or misbranded drugs to wide distribution to an unwitting public.
