Very good. No dust jacket as issued. iv, 116 p. S. Hrg. 105-45, Part I. This was the first of a series of hearings which the Committee planned to hold in Washington and at field locations. The two major issues which the Committee intended to llok at, at least initially, related to what happened to the GUlf War Veterans, where they being adequately treated and compensated for their exposure to a variety of problems in the Gulf War; and the second was what action was taken by the Department of Defense, the other branches of Government to find out what happened, whether the veterans were exposed to chemical warfare, and just exactly what occurred back at Khamisiyah in March 1991 when an Iraqi chemical compound was detonated, and why it was not made public until 1996.
