Yoshinori Suzuki is Dean's Professor of Supply Chain Management at the College of Business, Iowa State University. He holds a BS in Business and Economics from Sophia University (Tokyo Japan), an MBA in Marketing from New York University Stern School of Business, and a Ph.D. in Business Logistics from The Pennsylvania State University Smeal College of Business. His research interest is in mathematical modeling of logistics and transportation problems. During his 20-year academic career, he has conducted numerous research projects with both private and public organizations, which include Ruan Transportation Management Systems, GROWMARK Inc., C.H. Robinson, Des Moines International Airport, and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). His recent research work has appeared in such journals as Computers & Industrial Engineering, Transportation Research (Parts A, D, E), Journal of Transportation Engineering, Naval Research Logistics, Decision Sciences, Decision Support Systems, International Journal of Production Economics, Transportation Journal, Journal of the Transportation Research Forum, Journal of Business Logistics, and International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management. He has several years of industry experience in sales, logistics management, and transportation management.
