He is a tenured associate professor at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, where he is now the Head of two industry collaboration labs: NTU-NXP Smart Mobility Lab, Schaef er Hub for Advanced Research (SHARE) at NTU. His research interests broadly include coding and signal processing for communication systems, data storage systems and information security systems.
