William Crute wrote his first story when he was in the third grade. Though he may not have known it, he was following in the footsteps of writers and artists throughout history whose hearts had pined for the notice and love of a woman -- girl, in this case -- and it became more complicated than just pining and more necessary to write about it when a classmate showed interest in the same girl. His rival's gestures of affection toward his girl created a love triangle and William's first bitter taste of jealousy. Crute has written many stories since elementary school, but Morgan Make$ Money is the first one that is enjoying life outside of his manuscript filing cabinet. Another passion that Crute developed and enjoyed while in elementary school was painting and his passion for painting stayed with him into early adulthood where he decided to pursue a career as a professional artist.
