William C Hayward

Hayward graduated from Occidental College, and spent 2 years in the South Pacific as the officer in charge of a Navy air-sea rescue vessel during WWII. After the war, he returned to Southern California and joined his family in the lumber business. Then was involved as a permittee on Forest Service land whetted.
