Willi Rose

Rose was drafted into the German army in 1939 and served as a motorbike messenger on the front. Throughout his military service he carried a Kodak Anastigmat camera and took photographs that he sent home. In the postwar years he continued to work as a miller and later as a metal worker in a factory.
