Wendy Waters
Wendy Waters is an award-wining author, composer, lyricist and librettist. Born in Queensland, she grew up in Sydney, lived in the USA for six years, travelled extensively and now divides her time between London and Sydney. Wendy Waters is an award-wining author, composer, lyricist and librettist. In 2011, she volunteered to work with OASIS Salvation Army Crisis Centre in Sydney, helping to motivate musically gifted young people. Wendy has also written four musicals: Fred, Alexander and The Last Tale (with composer Shanon Whitelock), and Miriam (with composer Frank Seckold). In 2017, she co-wrote a play based on Catch the Moon, Mary with playwright Jemina Macedo and a musical score by Frank Seckold. The play had a staged reading at the Tristan Bates Theatre in London with graduates from Amanda Redman's ATS Drama School. Wendy is now writing the sequel to Catch the Moon, Mary and is in the process of publishing Fields of Grace, her second novel. See less
