Dr. Wencong Su is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Dr. Wencong Su is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. He received his B.S. degree (with distinction) from Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY, USA, in May 2008, his M.S. degree from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA, USA, in December 2009, and his Ph.D. degree from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, USA, in August 2013, respectively, all in electrical engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Michigan. He is an Editor of IEEE Transactions of Smart Grid and an Associate Editor of IEEE Access. Dr. Su is a Fellow of IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology) and a Senior Member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers). He has authored 1 book, 4 book chapters, and over 100 high-quality articles in prestigious international journals and peer-reviewed conference proceedings. He serves as the campus director of Center for Electric Drive Transportation (2015-present) and NSF REU Site (2018-present) at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
