Wei Lun Ang is a young Senior Lecturer in Integrated and Hybrid Membrane Water Treatment Technology at the Centre for Sustainable Process Technology (CESPRO), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He received his PhD from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in the area of integrated membrane desalination process, a collaboration project between University Kebangsaan Malaysia with Qatar University and Swansea University. His research interests lie in the field of membrane technology and its integration with other water and wastewater treatment technologies, sustainable resources reclamation and reuse from wastes as well as nanotechnology. He actively involved in several international and national level of research collaboration projects related to the application of membrane technology and nanotechnology in water and wastewater treatment and reclamation. Currently, he is one of the lead researchers for 2 international grants offered by The Royal Society, UK and Qatar National Research Fund. He had delivered a talk on his research sharing at the University of Technology, Sydney and being a visited scholar to Swansea University for research progress discussion. He has published 19 journal papers with citation exceeding 700 and h-index of 8. Wei Lun Ang has also authored 2 book chapters on the application of various treatment technologies for water and wastewater reclamation.
