Wayne Petrovich, aka KrispyKritter, first started backpacking in 1976 and has yet to stop hiking. Unsatisfied with letting the embers of life smolder after retirement from the fire service, Wayne found a second career as a long distance hiker during a six month communion with nature on the Appalachian Trail.
