Besides his technical books, Warren has self-published an illustrated children's book, a mystery novel and a chapter book. Warren is an award-winning artist specializing in watercolors. His portraits are displayed across the country. Warren and his wife Lois are very active with their two Certified Pet Therapy dogs, one of which is a 125 pound Newfoundland. They visit the local hospitals three times weekly and do a Read-to-the-Dog program at two libraries.
