Wanda Cheeks

Wanda Cheeks is the second of two children born to her mother and father Vicky and Luke Cheeks. Although Wanda and her family spent a lot of their years moving from place to place, she considers the small but not so small city of Newburgh, NY home. Wanda Cheeks is the second of two children born to her mother and father Vicky and Luke Cheeks. Although Wanda and her family spent a lot of their years moving from place to place, she considers the small but not so small city of Newburgh, NY home. The Cathedral at the House of Refuge is where Wanda would discover her gift and ability to write at the age of 7. Wanda shared her work amongst the congregations which served to further develop her ability and cultivate the gift. This sharing has since expanded to include youth department productions and different stages and platforms. Wanda hopes that through her writing, to share the gospel in a creative yet pure and accurate way leading people to Christ. It is her desire to live a life as an example of what faith in God looks like and to take every opportunity given to bring glory to God's name. See less
