Walt Shiel is has logged 4000 flying hours as a pilot (1800 in military Cessnas) in his 38-year US Air Force and civilian flying career. Dozens ofhis articles have appeared in US and foreign aviation magazines, and he currently writes the Cessna Warbirds column for Cessna Flyer magazine.
