He now refers to himself as a literacy advocate whose primary focus is creating awareness of the values and benefits of reading aloud to children. His most recent venture is Chip and Cookie, LLC, a retail store in Hawaii and online at www.chipandcookie.com, a business featuring two chocolate-chip cookie plush character dolls, Chip & Cookie, that help teach children to read.
