Walela Mantooth was born in 1985 in Rio Grande County (Colorado). Originally from a Native American family, she spent her childhood in the beautiful valleys of her area. In those years, she established a deep relationship with nature. Since childhood, she absorbed the deep culture of the Navajo and learned to use plants to create effective natural remedies. Walela has a brilliant educational background; she has a degree in Herbology with a Botany specialization and a Doctorate in Chinese Medicine. Thanks to her academic background and extensive experience in the field, she is considered one of the most experienced and influential herbalists. Walela currently lives with her family in a beautiful home surrounded by nature by the Rio Grande banks. She travels throughout the United States, giving seminars and lectures where she teaches people how to make most medicinal plants and rebuild a healthy relationship with nature.
