Joan Sjuts Waldman has been a quiltmaker, designer, and teacher since the mid-1970s. She is co-founder of the Calico Quilt Club of Columbus, Nebraska, and member of the Country Piecemakers Quilt Guild of Norfolk, Nebraska, Nebraska State Quilt Guild, NQA, and AQS.
