VR Peterson taught senior high school and worked as a Social Studies field advisor and curriculum specialist in the Faculty of Education for over forty years. Since 2001, he has taught online courses: "Teaching Across Borders", "Roles and Responsibilities of the Educational Assistant", "Effective Communication Skills", "Teaching Online", and "The Program Portfolio".
