Veronica McGivney
Veronica McGivney was principal research officer at NIACE until 2005, conducting research into a range of issues in education and training. She has published many books on adult learning, most of them about ways of ensuring equality of access and outcomes for disadvantaged and under-represented groups. In 2007, the Open University awarded her an honorary Doctorate for her contribution to work with educationally underprivileged adults.
