Verna Benner Carson

Verna Benner Carson, A.P.R.N., is the director of mental health for the assisted living and skilled nursing facilities of Erickson Retirement Communities. She was an associate professor of psychiatric nursing at the University of Maryland School of Nursing for twenty-one years. She is the author of seven books, including Parish Nursing and Spiritual Caregiving. She lives in Fallston, Maryland.
