Valerie Porter
Valerie Porter served as Clerk to Mil-land Parish Council for seven years and is now a parish councilor in that same valley, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beautyin the north-west of the County. She has lived in rural West Sussex for a quarter of a century and is the author of some two dozen books, mainly on aspects of living and working in the countryside and on farm livestock.
