Valerie Hector is a beadwork jeweler and an award-winning veteran of the American craft show circuit. Since 1988 she has exhibited her work at hundreds of juried shows, from Seattle to Palm Beach and points in between. Valerie also researches beadwork history. Valerie holds a B.A. in English Literature from Loyola University of Chicago, and has completed graduate courses at The University of Chicago in the departments of Anthropology, Art History, and East Asian Languages and Civilizations.
