Udith Dematagoda
Udith Dematagoda is a Scottish writer, academic and musician. Born in Sri Lanka in 1985, his family moved to Scotland and he grew up outside Edinburgh. Moving to Glasgow in 2004, he played guitar and sang in the postpunk band Un Cadavre, and finished a PhD in 2015. He is author of the monograph 'Vladimir Nabokov and the Ideological Aesthetic', and now lives and works in Tokyo. This is his first novel.
