Tracey Jean Boisseau is a historian and associate professor as well as former director of women's, gender, and sexuality studies at Purdue University. Coeditor of Feminist Legal History, Gendering the Fair , and a special issue of the NWSA Journal , Boisseau is also author of White Queen (Indiana University Press, 2004) and more than two dozen interdisciplinary articles and chapters on the historical and transnational production of feminist identity.
