Timothy Matney
Timothy Matney is professor of archaeology at the University of Akron. He is a Near Eastern archaeologist with a specialization in Early Bronze Age urbanism and the archaeology of the Assyrian Empire in the Iron Age. He has directed excavations in Turkey for the past two decades.
