Tim Lovegrove

Tim Lovegrove was raised in Western Australia and has always been a country boy at heart. He started travelling during his university years in the late 60's and early 70's. He visited Timor and Afghanistan, and each country suffered invasion almost immediately. Russia, the UK and Canada remained almost untouched by his presence. Tim Lovegrove was raised in Western Australia and has always been a country boy at heart. He started travelling during his university years in the late 60's and early 70's. He visited Timor and Afghanistan, and each country suffered invasion almost immediately. Russia, the UK and Canada remained almost untouched by his presence. He wound up living in central Queensland for 23 years where he married and was blessed with three lovely daughters. A marital parting of the ways saw him relocate to Elcho Island in north east Arnhem Land which he found was heaven on earth. Gypsy like, he moved to New South Wales and then found himself back in East Timor where he helped restore self confidence in a small number of Timorese in the administration of the Teachers' College. The wheel has turned full circle and Tim is back living in Western Australia. His three daughters are still lovely. See less
