Thomas Love Peacock

THOMAS LOVE PEACOCK (1785-1866), was an English poet, essayist, and satiric novelist. He wrote seven novels, Headlong Hall, Melincourt, Nightmare Abbey, Maid Marian, The Misfortunes of Elfin, Crochet Castle, and Grylle Grange. He also authored nine unfinished novels, three plays, and many essays and poems.
