Thomas Hickenbottom
Thomas Hickenbottom is a fourth-generation central coast native and a surfer for over 50 years in Santa Cruz. He began wave riding back in the balsa era of the late 1950s. During the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, Hickenbottom represented the Santa Cruz surfing community in contests up and down the California coast.
