Thomas Fink, born in New York City in 1954, is the author of six books of poetry, including PEACE CONFERENCE (Marsh Hawk Press, 2011) and CLARITY AND OTHER POEMS (Marsh Hawk Press, 2008), three chapbooks, and Autopsy Turvy (Meritage Press, 2010), a book of collaborative poetry with Maya Diablo Mason. With Joseph Lease, he is co-editor of "Burning Interiors": David Shapiro's Poetry and Poetics (Fairleigh Dickinson University Press, 2007). His poem "Yinglish Strophes IX" was selected for The Best American Poetry 2007 (Scribner's) by Heather McHugh and David Lehman. Fink's work has appeared in American Poetry Review, Barrow Street, Chicago Review, Contemporary Literature, DENVER QUARTERLY, Jacket, LIT, Milk, Minnesota Review, MiPoesias, Otoliths, Second Avenue Poetry, SENTENCE, Shampoo, Slope, TALISMAN, Verse, and numerous other journals. His paintings hang in various collections. Fink is Professor of English at City University of New York--LaGuardia. See less
