Thomas Boyd

Thomas Boyd (1898-1935) was born in Defiance, Ohio, in the heart of Simon Girty country. He attended Woodward High School in Cincinnati and served with distinction in WWI. After the war he became literary editor of the Minneapolis Daily Star, which launched his career as an author. He wrote "Through the Wheat," an acclaimed WWI novel, and several other novels and biographies before his death in 1935.
