Therese Rosenblatt, PhD, is a psychologist and psychoanalyst in private practice in New York City and Westchester County, New York. She treats adults, adolescents, couples, and families. Therese has led parenting groups in her private practice, in the Alcott preschool in Scarsdale, New York, and at the Early Childhood Development Center in New York City, in which she taught parents about babies' and children's developmental levels, tasks, and needs and supported parents in the challenges they faced raising their children. She also consults with families working to improve their relationships with each other. Therese is on the faculty of the Metropolitan Institute for Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and is adjunct clinical supervisor at Yeshiva University and Pace University in New York. She writes and presents about various topics in psychology. Since the pandemic, she has been running workshops and speaking on the topic of life challenges, and emotional health during the pandemic, plus the changing needs of virtual therapy practice. Recent publications include The Analyst's Illness From the Perspectives of Analyst and Patient, a chapter in What Happens When the Analyst Dies: Unexpected Terminations in Psychoanalysis, published by Routledge, July 2019; and The Voice of the Analyst: Narratives on Developing a Psychoanalytic Identity, coedited and authored with Linda Hillman, published by Routledge in September 2017. How Are You? is her first book for the general public. Therese lives in NYC and Westchester with her husband, where she enjoys long visits from her three sons and their partners. See less
