Tazuko Ajiro Monane

Native speaker, Tazuko Ajiro Monane, earned an MS degree from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from Georgetown University. She was the director of the Japanese language program at Harvard University. Throughout her career, she devoted special attention to problems in the teaching of Japanese and many of her innovative teaching methods are embodied in this book.
