Sylvia Patience

Sylvia Patience lives in Santa Cruz, California with her family and Toto, her little dog, too. She has worked as a midwife and nurse. Currently, she volunteers as a natural history museum docent and school writing project assistant, and at the local animal shelter. A member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), Sylvia regularly participates in writing conferences and critique groups. She has received awards and conference scholarships for her fiction writing.
